Lascaux is an exact three-dimensional replica of the Lascaux cave. The technology and scientific work that went into Lascaux II make it nothing short of a work of art. It captures all the original cave’s mysteries and charm. You’ll never forget this site and the dawn-of-humankind feel.

The Lascaux cave was discovered on 12 september 1940. The need to preserve this world heritage gem, however, entailed closing it to the public in 1963. Its facsimile, Lascaux II, was inaugurated in 1983. It stands 200 m from the original cave in exactly the same surroudings.
